Thai Songthaews

Songthaews is very common form of transport and can be found everywhere in Thailand. Passengers whose number vary from 10 to 30 sit on two benches but sometimes it can get very overcrowded as there are standing people between the benches.

As the songthaew is covered and has open sides and back it is very practical in huge traffic. When you want to get in you have to wave the driver and when you are ready to get off just press the button or bang on the roof. Again you negotiate the price or sometimes but not often it is fixed.

Songthaew in Thailand is another opportunity for a short trip around.
