Thailand can be reached by ferries and longtail boats from Malaysia, China, Laos and Cambodia. The frequency of timetables depend on the season. Fares vary and can be bargained for few hundred Bahts.

Thailand has two deep-sea ports at Phuket and Laem Chatang which can accommodate luxury ships and liners of different tonnage up to 22.000 tons.
