Motorbike & Scooter Rent

As motorbikes and scooters are very popular in Thailand and most common in beach areas you may want to try it when visiting Thailand. You have to bring either your International Driving License or the Thai Driving License. Remember that you are obliged to wear a helmet otherwise you will have to pay a 500 Baht /15 US Dollars/ fine.

In most rent-a-motorbike companies the bikes and scooters are not insured, so you pay whatever you damage. Make sure the number plate is clear and well visible. If you are experienced motorbike/scooter driver it will be ok but still remember that driving in Thailand is not like anywhere else.
