Wedding in Thailand

Wedding ceremony in Thailand is a great variety of traditional Thai music and dances, with all the beauty and grace of Thailand culture. There are few steps for a Traditional Thai Wedding. Usually in the past the whole ceremony was far more complex with lots of details to do but nowadays it is not so complex.

First of all following the Buddhist custom there is monk blessing at the house of the bride. After that the bride and the groom go for official registration at country office but some couples make these two steps not in the same day of the Wedding. After that both the bride and the groom and their families get together. Bride and the groom sit together with their hands in the position of “wai” and there is a flower chain that connects their hands. In the evening there is a wedding party.
