Adoption from Thailand
If you intent to adopt a child from Thailand the whole proceedings must be processed through the Child Adoption Center of the Department of Public Welfare (DPW), which is the governmental social welfare agency responsible for adoption a child from Thailand. You have to know that as any other vital decision in your life adopting a child requires a lot of patience and documentation.
Parent requirements
Both parents must be over 25 and both parents must be at least 15 years older than the child to apply for adoption in Thailand. Only married couples may adopt. Parents must be married at least 3 years. No more than one divorce is permitted per parent. Both parents should travel to Thailand for about 10 days.
Length of Adoption Process
It takes about 12 to 18 months from initial application to having your child at home.

-Medical certificate verifying good physical and mental stability.
-marriage certificate
-birth certificates for both parents
-license of the involved adoption agency
-complete financial statement indicating all assets
-proof of occupation and income (letter from employer)
