Visa for Thailand

1. Tourist Visa for Thailand
In Thailand all tourists are required Tourist Visa which allows period of stay not exceeding 60 days. Tourists from the following countries do not need Tourist Visa:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA, Vietnam.

The validity of Tourist Visa is three months. The fee for Tourist visa is about 1000 Baht per entry. A copy of full paid air ticket is required.

2. Transit Visa for Thailand
Transit Visa is issued to applicants who want to enter the country for the following purposes:
- to travel transit through Thailand /Transit Visa Category TS/
- to participate in sport events /Transit Visa Category S/
- being a crew member of boat, plane etc on territory of Thailand /Transit Visa Category C/.

The validity of Transit Visa is three months. The period of stay in Thailand should not exceed 30 days. The fee for Transit Visa is about 800 Baht per entry.

3. Non-Immigrant Visa for Thailand
Non-Immigrant Visa is issued to applicants for the following purposes:
- making business or to work /Non-Immigrant Visa Category B/
- performing official duties /Non-Immigrant Visa Category F/
- to invest in Thailand /Non-Immigrant Visa Category IM/
- to study, take part in seminars, study as foreign Buddhist monk /Non-Immigrant Visa Category ED/

The validity of Non-Immigrant Visa is 3 months. The period of stay allowed is 90 days.
The fee is about 2000 Baht for single entry and about 5000 Baht for multiple entries.

4. Visa on Arrival for Thailand
Visa on Arrival is a tourist visa which allows a period of stay 15 days for tourists from the following countries:
Bhutan, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Maldives, Mauritius, Oman, Poland, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukrain.

The fee is 1000 Baht.

Usually it takes 2 full working days if applicant makes visa for Thailand personally or about 10 day plus mailing time if done by mail.
